The San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame has revealed its 2026 inductees, highlighting three legendary University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) figures: Frank Harris, Tameka Roberts-Nunez, and Larry Coker.

 

Frank Harris, celebrated UTSA quarterback, led the Roadrunners to a stellar 39-13 record and consecutive Conference USA titles, while shattering over 35 program records.

 

Tameka Roberts-Nunez, a dominant track and field athlete in the ‘90s, amassed 17 Southland Conference titles and showcased her talent on the court as well, setting new standards for UTSA athletics.

 

Larry Coker, as UTSA’s first football coach, set the stage for the program’s rapid growth, including a record-setting crowd at the Alamodome in their inaugural 2011 game.

 

Also honored are Olympian James Feigen and the 1971 Robert E. Lee High School football team, marking an inspiring celebration for San Antonio sports.

San Antonio International Airport is launching its first-ever mascot and seeks energetic performers to fill the role.

 

Candidates should be between 5'10" and 6'1" with an athletic build, and prior mascot or performance experience is a plus.

 

Applicants must submit a resume and headshot to SATevents@sanantonio.gov by February 17 at 4:30 p.m.

 

Meanwhile, SeaWorld San Antonio will hold auditions for dancers, puppeteers, and costumed characters on February 14, 2026, beginning sign-in at 10:30 a.m.

 

Participants must be at least 16 years old with parental consent if underage.

 

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is also holding auditions in San Antonio from January 31 to February 1, 2026, seeking a variety of performers.
